Add a pair of Breast-Warmers to help with expressing, as safe and gentle warmth is beneficial to get the milk to move easier, giving you a greater yield.

Hand Expression Funnel Assembly:
 

  • Connect one of the oral slip fit syringes to the bottom of the funnel making sure the plunger is all the way up.
  • Hand express into the funnel.
  • When the session is over, pull down on plunger to vacuum colostrum into the syringe. 
  • Bring to baby for feeding, or store in fridge up to 24 hours to be given later. Freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Wash funnel and syringe with soap and water between uses.

 

Medela Pump Expression Assembly:
 

  • Connect adapter assembly to the breast flange and pump. 
  • Screw baby bottle on as usual.
  • Connect one of the enteral slip fit syringes, supplied in this pack, to the bottom of the adapter’s reservoir making sure the plunger is all the way up.
  • You can double pump or single pump.
  • Ready to use. Start pumping. 
  • When the session is over, pull down on plunger to vacuum out colostrum into syringe.
  • Bring to baby for feeding, or store in fridge up to 24 hours, or freeze up to. 3 months.
  • Wash assembly with soap and water between uses.
