Reusable Eco Tampons work just the same as disposable tampons.  
Wash like reusable cloth pads or anything else. Just pop them in a wet bag until you are ready to run a load of washing. They go straight in the machine with your standard laundry.

Rinse in cold water and wash 60-90'C. No fabric softener. Best to drip dry. Limit or no tumble drying. The tampons stay super soft and are made in 100% flannel. The same as the pads in Denim.
